About Me
I have just spent nearly 45 minutes trying to write a small paragraph about myself which:
a) Doesn’t make me sound like some generic, fluffy footed, tie dye wearing, bangle jangle artist.
b) Does make me sound interesting enough to be 'followed' by the world.
c) Doesn't contain too much 'blowing of one's trumpet'
Here goes...
(I am aware that my intro already looks like the beginnings of a Power Point presentation)
Firstly, I would like to thank you for taking time out to view my site and making it this far to read a bit about me!
Born in 83 and with a huge passion for the 80s especially the 'New Wave' pop movement, I find that most of my inspiration and drive for creating art comes from this era. I am an abstract fine artist and I adore painting various architecture and for some reason (possibly my obsession for Miami Vice and all 80s/90s Americana) I seem to produce quite a few American street and beach scenes.
I'm a born and bred Londoner currently living just west of the city.
I am heavily inspired by brutalist architecture, architectural plans, geometry, urban decay and general city buzz.
The vibrant clutter of European cities and the subtle haunts of the Middle East also feed my creativity. The use of energetic colours
plays a major part in my work, 'earth tones' rarely feature in my vocabulary.
I'm a born and bred Londoner currently living just west of the city, all the pieces you have seen are for sale and I welcome commisions with open arms.
If you have any questions, or would like to purchase a piece of my work, please do not hesitate to contact me via email and we can chat art or the 80s, or both!
